Welcome to the homepage for White Hot Glass Works where we create silver and mixed metal jewelry and lampworked glass beads and buttons.
The folks behind the scenes are Bobby and Norm Pedersen. Norm also gets to keep our website current.
Feel free to browse and we hope you enjoy our website. Thank you for visiting.
We had been woodworkers for 20 years under the name of “The WoodQuackers”.
In the Summer of 1999 we took a glass bead making class and a new endeavor was born. After we had been making beads for a while we decided we needed a new name. So in the Spring of 2001 “White Hot Glass Works” was formed. We find the process of lampworking and the way in which you can manipulate hot glass to be truly magical.
Then in 2006 we dove into the making of silver jewelry using our glass. This evolved into fine silver pieces and adding copper and bronze to our designs. Then came lost wax casting and we were off again!
As you can see we are constantly incorporating new ideas and techniques in what we do.
